Michael plays Logan, the brainiac/computer wiz (he turns it on with his eyes!) who is trying to save the world from poverty and injustice.

The audition: “It was with Jessica [Alba] and James Cameron [director of Titanic]. Not only was I terrified of screwing up in front of James, but there was this beautiful girl I had to act with. All I remember was trying not to sweat.”

Preparing for the role: “I got a haircut! I went to a party in Hollywood and everyone had this spiky hair, so I figured I had to get that haircut.”

Romance for Logan and Sam? (note: I think they meant Max) “I think there’s a connection. It’s sort of a mutual respect they have for each other. She’s use to being the smartest person in the room all the time, so it makes her curious that there’s someone who can actually keep up with her.”

Challenges: “The most challenging thing is when I take naps in between scenes. I’m a naper! I average two a day. And my character wears glasses, so when I wake up from the nap my glasses are sort of bent and crooked and I have to straighten them out. There are a couple of scenes when my glasses appear crooked. And that’s due to my love of naps.”

Who’s cooler: You or Logan? “Logan. He’s got the tricked-out apartment. He’s also extremely good at the computer stuff. I don’t even know where the power switch is Long Kicks butt!”
