Although an official announcement hasn't been made yet by WB, Jensen Ackles' Official Newsletter informed his fans this morning that he's signed a two-year contract to play "Jason Teague" on the WB's SMALLVILLE. Jason -- a regular on the series -- is the new love interest for Lana Lang.
