angel_eyes_x5452: What is your honest reaction to being called 'yummy' ?

Kris Pope: That's really flattering. It warms my soul, I think that Yummy is my new favorite word!

mel_latina: Any update on becoming more of a regular character on DA? And also, any more future projects in other movies or TV coming up?

Kris Pope: DA is always a possibility. I was working on a project in December called 'The Snow Queen.'

Yoss: What is your character in The Snow Queen?

Kris Pope: It's for Hallmark and will be out next Christmas. I play 'Prince Reginald Priceless'

Yoss: What was your first speaking role and what was the line?

Kris Pope: Breaker High----'No'. One take

Yoss: professional ;)

Kris Pope: haha

Lisa: who else is in the Snow Queen?

Kris Pope: Bridget Fonda, Chelsea Hobbes, Jeremy Thiebault and many other fine actors

beanz: yeah can you elaborate on the Snow queen? Movie?

Kris Pope: It's a mini-series based on the fairytale by Hans Christian Anderson.

Kris Pope: I had to go through a month of Dance lessons/rehearsals because my character is an accomplished dancer (quite unlike myself)

Lisa: I thought you were the original "Club Kid" ;P

Kris Pope: I do alright. This dance was traditional, however, Waltz, Tango, Flamenco, ect, ect..

Lisa: is it going to be a traditional adaptation, or will it have some sort of crazy spin on the story?

Kris Pope: The adaptation is fairly traditional.

beanz: If there was one thing you could be remembered for what would you want it to be and why?

Kris Pope: Remembered for------???

beanz: yeah remembered for, when you are an old happy man :)

Kris Pope: I'd like to be remembered for my jumpshot--------perhaps one day I will...........

beanz: lol

Kris Pope: krispope.com is under construction and will most likely be up in the new year (with the help of Lisa)

Kiari: Did you get to work with either Ryan Gosling or Scott Vickaryous during your Breaker High gig? If so, what were they like?

Kris Pope: Yes, both of Them are great actors and great people. Scott and I see each other still from time to time

Ivy: How do you feel going on national television like MTV Canada with a close buddy of yours like Anthony Montgomery? Do you feel more comfortable or more of a need to fool around? From Ivy the asian 1 at mtv canada with socks.

Kris Pope: Hey Socks! We had fun, I guess when you get two people who are friends together on tv and you give them mics----watch out. That show is really chill

Yoss: I'm a fan of Anthony on Star Trek Enterprise, how did you get to know him and what do you think of his 'immortality' of being in Star Trek?

Kris Pope: Anthony and I met when he was filming 'Popular' with my sister. I think that his role on Star Trek is Fantastic!

Yoss: Have you indulged in the Video Game bonanza recently? (GameCube/PS2/Xbox)?

Kris Pope: I have a PS2 and yes, I do indulge!

Lisa: what is your favorite game?

Kris Pope: SSX Tricky all the way!

Kris Pope: Canada Kicks Ass (haven't you seen the T-shirt?)

Yoss: I saw "Girls Kick ass" :P

angel_eyes_x5452: What do you do in auditions for films and TV shows to make yourself stand out, or make a good impression on the casting executives?

Kris Pope: Always be prepared, look the part, and stick to your choices---always.

Yoss: How do you do your hair? Do you use a wad of gel or was it just for the show? Sorry, I had to ask. My hair sucks, I gave up and put on hats

Kris Pope: Thanks Yoss. They have a wonderful hair department, who work together to get the end result (yeah, basically a wad of gel and some twisting)

jei: There is nothing in this world like a good wad of gel

beautifulstranger: Did you know/meet any other Dark Angel cast members before you first appeared as Rafer?

Kris Pope: Not before, no.

Sera: What's it like on the set of DA?

Kris Pope: The sets are amazing!

onionroach: Did any of the scenes crack you up during filming?

Kris Pope: Yeah...the hallway scene in Meow was hilarious and the crystal ball scene in Boo had everyone rolling

Lisa: it's a very physical show, did you get any bumps or bruises while you were working?

Kris Pope: bumps and bruises, yes.

beanz: wow the questions are coming thick and fast now eh? :)

jei: I loved how your character seem to just go with the flow (In Boo)

Kris Pope: Yeah, Rafer's pretty laid back and confused

gloz: Have you ever been to Australia?

Kris Pope: No, but I lived with a bunch of Australians when I was in England for the summer. Does that qualify??

Yoss: only if they snatched your wallets lol

Kris Pope: hahaha---about the wallets

beanz: What part of England were you in? I am from London :)

Kris Pope: I was staying in Clapham and Soho

beanz: Nice. How did you like it? Soho has an ...interesting culture :)

Kris Pope: Yes, absolutely.

Lisa: care to tell the story about what brought you home early?

Kris Pope: You know the story Lisa! It was DA. Rafer called me and I answered.

Lisa: lol :)

JSmith6285: Have you watched any of the episodes? If so, what was your favorite?

Kris Pope: My favorite (biased opinion) was Boo, because we had alot of fun filming the whole thing. Also, the comedic premise of the story was refreshing

jei: Tripe eating transgenics was a treat to watch :D

Lisa: That looked like a very fun episode. it gave a new spin on the characters, only possible in dream type stories.

jei: I thought so too. I've never scene anything so different in story telling, but then that's Dark Angel

Yoss: I felt that episode had you as the straight man amongst chaos, but did you read into that Max was dreaming about you and kept you normal?

Kris Pope: I ALWAYS keep it real.

Kylia: Do you have a fan e-mail address?

Kris Pope: no I don't, but any mail can be sent to my agency by snail mail

KrisMTVsockGirl: What kind of kid were you in high school?'

Kris Pope: I had a wicked time in high school

Lisa: what crowd did you hang with in school?

Kris Pope: Really short and skinny until grade 11, 'the little cute guy' needed to grow!

Yoss: like a chia pet lol

Kris Pope: Our school wasn't that cliquee' and I had all kinds of friends

beanz: No doubt the September 11th tragedy in the USA will be burned on the minds of our generation forever. Can you remember where you were when you heard about the terrorist attacks?

Kris Pope: I was just arriving to work on DA at 8am--we were filming one of the bar scenes in Boo, which was supposed to be funny. The only thing is that between takes, everyone was crying. That was really weird.

Kris Pope: surreal is the only word that comes to mind.

beanz: yes it was unbelievable

gloz: What’s it like working with Jensen Ackles?

Kris Pope: Ackles is mint. We never actually got to work together, but we became friends outside of work

Lisa: Do you have an embarrassing moment on the set story? It doesn't have to be DA

Kris Pope: In the hallway scene, JA and I kept falling down and injuring ourselves and laughing. It took a while to get it right.

Lisa: How many takes did it take to get it right?

Kris Pope: 10 or so

beanz: LOL! That scene looked like you needed a stunt double!

Lisa: I bet you were sore after that!

Kris Pope: yup

jei: How do you like all the Fuss and muss that comes with being an actor, do you just put up with it for the craft or do you find all the publicity, casting calls, and whatnot a fun ride?

Kris Pope: Every profession carries with it different responsibilities (ups and downs). I love acting and everything about the business really. It's very hard work, but very satisfying when you do a good job. I went through University and earned my degree before starting in the business to get some perspective.

BabynuckPsycho: What is your favorite "I AM A CANADIAN" commercial?

Kris Pope: 'Joe' was brilliant

Lucky: Whose idea was it to guess "Idle Hands" during the charades game in Boo?

Kris Pope: We just shot out a bunch of alternatives and they chose that one. Kevin (Joshua) was cracking us all up constantly

Kylia: What would you say to teenagers who want to follow their dreams and act?

Kris Pope: Once you decide to do it---don't give up, be tenacious and put your heart in everything you do. Success will follow in one way or another.

KrisMTVsockGirl: Has anyone recognized you on the streets yet?

Kris Pope: Vancouver is a small city, so things like that happen all of the time

beanz: How do you feel when it happens?

Kris Pope: confused at first, but then flattered because it means that someone cared enough to notice

Yoss: What was it like acting with Kevin Durand in all of his makeup? Did he growl during your lines to mess you up?

Kris Pope: Kevin growls all the time. It's a game he plays---he likes to scare people walking by when we're on location. You can imagine what the reaction would be from someone who is unaware that we're filming a show.....

beanz: LOL

Kris Pope: absolutely

beanz: so you guys mess around a lot on set?
Kris Pope: no......of course not!!

beanz: yeah, uh huh..the truth comes out now huh? ;-)

Kris Pope: hard work, beanz.

beanz: Trust me we appreciate it!

Lisa: Roswell has lots of fans going to watch the location filming do you notice the same problem when you film DA?

Kris Pope: The sets are quite closed for the most part (and in relatively secluded locations) some fans watch, however.

Lisa say's I'd be there if I knew where you were filming ;P I'm such a groupie

beanz: How do you feel about fans who fear your character will "break up" max/logan?

Kris Pope: Those two, break up!? I don't know............

beanz: LOL well their fans fear it!
